That knowledge became our foundation. We moved from servicing machines to manufacturing them – first diamond laser cutting systems, then our own control electronics, and eventually a complete fiber laser range. Every step was driven by the same question: how do we build a machine our customers can rely on for years?

The company is founded
Sigma begins as a spares and service provider for diamond cutting machines, engraving machines and marking machines – building the deep, hands-on machine knowledge that still defines our engineering today.
Diamond laser cutting machines
We move from servicing machines to building them, starting manufacturing of Diamond Laser Cutting Machines – our first step as an industrial laser manufacturer.
Our own core technologies
We design and develop RF power supplies, CNC controllers, positioning systems and related technologies in-house – the control backbone that lets us understand and improve every machine to its core, instead of just assembling bought-in parts.
Fiber laser marking machines
We begin manufacturing Fiber Laser Marking Machines, bringing permanent, high-precision traceability to our customers and marking our entry into fiber laser technology.
R&D for fiber laser cutting
We start dedicated research and development for Fiber Laser Cutting Machines – proving the technology and refining performance before committing it to production.
Fiber cutting + new facility
Years of R&D reach the floor: we begin manufacturing Fiber Laser Cutting Machines and establish a new manufacturing facility to support production at scale.
Welding & cleaning machines
We introduce Fiber Laser Welding Machines and Fiber Laser Cleaning Machines, completing a full fiber range that covers cutting, welding, marking and cleaning under one manufacturer.

A laser machine runs for a decade. That standard can’t rest on a sales claim – it has to be built into how the machine is made. Our fiber laser cutting range didn’t arrive overnight. We began dedicated R&D in 2015, refining performance and reliability for four years before starting manufacturing in 2019. That patience is deliberate – we’d rather get the engineering right than rush an unproven machine to market.
