Sigma Laser Technologies is a brand of Sigma Mechotronics Pvt. Ltd. established in 1997. We build fiber laser cutting machines, fiber laser welding machines, fiber laser marking systems, fiber laser cleaning machines, and diamond 4P/8P machines. Our machines serve fabricators, automotive suppliers, aerospace developers, and diamond processors across India and international markets.
Our Journey
Built on the lessons of fixing machines.
In 1997 we began as a spares and service provider for diamond cutting, engraving and marking machines. Years on the service bench taught us what really fails, what causes downtime, and how much support matters after the sale.
That knowledge became our foundation. We moved from servicing machines to manufacturing them – first diamond laser cutting systems, then our own control electronics, and eventually a complete fiber laser range. Every step was driven by the same question: how do we build a machine our B2B customers can rely on for years?

Quality is a process, not a promise.
A laser machine runs for a decade. That standard can’t rest on a sales claim – it has to be built into how the machine is made. Our processes are certified to ISO 9001:2015, critical stages are inspected as the machine is assembled, and nothing leaves our floor without test running on representative work.
Because we engineer our own controllers and power systems, quality control reaches deeper than final inspection – we can verify the parts of the machine most suppliers simply buy and hope are right.

Back in 2005 we made a decision that still sets us apart: we developed our own RF power supplies, CNC controllers and positioning systems. That means the intelligence and control inside our machines is engineered by us, not outsourced.

Our fiber laser cutting range didn’t arrive overnight. We began dedicated R&D in 2015, refining performance and reliability for four years before starting manufacturing in 2019. That patience is deliberate – we’d rather get the engineering right than rush an unproven machine to market.
R&D remains central to how we grow: improving our machines, advancing our in-house control technology, and expanding what our B2B customers can do with a Sigma laser.
